Description

Lemur Skull (Archaeolemur edwardsi)
This subfossil skull of Archaeolemur edwardsi, now extinct, is that of an infant lemur, as can be seen from the condition of the teeth. Since the arrival of humans on Madagascar, many lemur species have gone extinct and the geographic ranges of living species have contracted significantly.
