The front of the postcard describes “Congregation des Soeurs de Saint-Paul” which means “Congregation of the Sisters of Saint-Paul” and “성바오로 수녀회” in Korean. It also describes the image taken in Taikou, Coree, which is currently Daegu, Korea. The first four sisters from the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres (SPC), started their mission in Korea for taking care of orphans and sick people in 1888. SPC Convent in Daegu was established in 1915.

Inscription on the bottom front: “COREE - TAIKOU : Ici les petits enfants trouvés seront les bienvenus”
