Steve Climons
Steve Climons is a native Californian who graduated from the California School of Arts & Crafts at Oakland with a BFA in illustration and graphic design. He became an art director and moved to New York in 1976 to work at Madison Avenue ad agencies, gaining experience working on a wide variety of national brands.
After moving back to San Francisco in 1988, he founded Steve Climons Creative Services (SCCS), quickly landing the Quik Stop convenience store account and others. Eight years later he created the Crossover Creative Group with the vision of closing the gap between corporations and underrepresented consumers. His goal was to create advertising campaigns for multicultural consumers that would also have broad appeal.
