'As Far As Possible from Forgetfulness': The Trinity College Historical Society
What's in Your Exhibit?
The members of the Trinity College Historical Society had big ambitions to preserve “as far as possible from forgetfulness” their world and their community’s history for future scholars.
What sort of things do you think belong in a museum of today?
Would you save an iPod, your diary or Facebook profile, a ticket stub from a Duke basketball game?
What sort of story would you want future scholars to know about you, your generation, and your community?
Please post your ideas in the comments-pictures are welcome too!

mmb161p — I would include a bag of rocks-could be just a bag of rocks (later with unknown origin)-or could be a bag of rocks that a friend gave me-that he took when he was actually AT the Berlin Wall when it came down....
aaronploss49p — This is truly interesting. I have a pocket knife I carry with me since the 3rd grade. There is more to value than price.
Beth — I would put one of the tin foil men that the mystery artist has been making and putting all over campus.

Gordon — Not much in my exhibit, but I like the piece of historic thing you mentioned above!! I just remembered I've a old, very aged radio. It's probably used by the time of 70's or 80's. For me it's a historic exhibit.
Clumsy — Wow these things are really old which are present in the exhibit.
Wishart — I think an iPod is worth preserving for posterity.
