Custom Enclosures
If a book is too brittle to repair or is special in some way we will construct a custom-fit enclosure for it. Boxes protect against potential damage from handling, keep broken pieces together, and protect the contents from light and dust.
We can make several kinds of enclosures. Our choice depends on the size and weight of the book as well as its condition. In addition to books we have made custom enclosures for Ethiopic scrolls, metal amulets, a pink felt dragon, and a model airplane.
