Will of Richard Arnold-Mending

Richard Arnold will and book of religious writings

1725-1735.  2nd 90:F (One-Folder Coll., Box 5)  Box 1.

This is a collection of manuscript writings including the will of Richard Arnold, an early settler of Woonsocket and Smithfield, Rhode Island.  The catalog stated: “Also contains small envelope of page fragments” the first pictures shows those fragments next to the paper. The paper was brittle and brown but flexible. The second picture shows the item after treatment.

The Conservator used Japanese Tissue and Wheat Starch Paste to re-adhere loose pieces and mend tears in the paper.
